UCMAS MP

State Level Competition

WHY COMPETITION IS GOOD FOR KIDS

These competitions teach Grit and Persistence and the Value of success. Success is about sticking with a difficult task until it’s done. This kind of persistence comes from discipline and focus, two qualities that UCMAS drills into students from day one.
Whether it’s learning how to beat the timer during a flash calculation round or learning to listening with concentration for a listening competition or the persistence required to complete 200 questions in 8 mins, students are constantly refining their attention span. They learn how to manage distractions, regulate their thoughts, and push through difficult situations.
Think about it, can a child win if they don’t believe they can?
UCMAS isn’t just about training the brain, it’s about transforming the self-belief that sits beyond the brain. As children begin to solve problems independently without a calculator, a cheat sheet, or even a helping hand, they begin to realize their own potential.
That “I did it! ” moment when he holds aloft his hard won trophy is where real confidence is born. It’s not based on praise; it’s based on proof. The child knows, from experience, that they can reach their goals and achieve difficult targets. That knowledge becomes their inner voice, their calm during chaos, and their strength during setbacks.
And that is the reason why Thousands of parents trust UCMAS because it delivers visible transformation in children.
State Levels, Nationals, Internationals these are not just competitions, they are movements.  Every year thousands of students get together to participate in this annual gala which is a celebration of Mental arithmetic and Focus, demonstrating extraordinary speed and precision in solving Arithmetic challenges, faster than a calculator. Parents witness first hand how UCMAS develops sharper focus and better cognition with powerful speed defying arithmetic skills.
